Pollen is the latest project from the Peddler Market team. Passionate about their city, they seek out unusual spaces, transforming them each month to celebrate the independent businesses that make Sheffield so great.

Popping up on the third Sunday of every month, Pollen. Inner-City Flower Market delivers an abundance of greenery, live music and art, local produce and more, celebrating the vibrant city of Sheffield and its people.

The Market will be filled with decorative interiors, jewellery, vintage & salvaged goods, flowers, plants, gardenware, delicious artisan food, creatives, makers & more.

Sharrow Vale Road is a road in South West Sheffield which is home to a great selection of small independent shops and businesses. It is rapidly developing a reputation as a foodie destination with a delicatessen, organic greengrocer, bakers, patisseries and wine shop as well as a wide range of cafes and restaurants. In addition, there are a number of shops stocking unusual clothing, accessories and gifts.

Sharrow Vale market is held three times a year in Sharrow Vale Road. It runs from Hunters Bar roundabout all the way along to the Stewart Road and Peaks car parks and now includes the new area in Dyson Place. Normally we have around 100 stalls selling a wide variety of locally reared and home made produce, hot food from all corners of the globe, crafts, clothing and plants.

Scratch that indie buying itch and support some of Sheffield’s talented crafters and makers at Sheffield Creative Guild’s Makers’ Markets.  Some of our favourite creatives will be selling their beautifully, independently-produced prints, paintings, jewellery, homewares and more. 

Alongside stalls, we’ll be working with our friends Ignite Imaginations to put together a programme of children’s art activities which will be free to attend.

PEDDLER WAREHOUSE

KELHAM ISLAND

92 Burton Rd, or the 'Peddler Warehouse' as you may know it, is located in Kelham Island, Sheffield.

A former bed spring factory, this 7500 square foot ex- industrial event space is the ideal warehouse for a pop up city wedding, and Inner City should know... we popped up the very first wedding reception there, in 2016 and dozens more since.

Filled with gritty character and plenty of natural light, the space offers a unique and characterful independent venue in Sheffield for big shindigs. It is not licenced for the legals, but couples can have a celebrant-led or friend-led ceremony if they so choose, or could get hitched in another of Sheffield's many spaces and places and come to the warehouse for the reception.

From the team that brought you Peddler Market comes Pollen: a monthly celebration of all things botanical.

Overlooking the bridge built as an ode to a lost love, Pollen will revive Sheffield’s ancient heart with the long-awaited return of its once famous flower market.

Forming part of the Grey to Green initiative, Pollen plays a pivotal role in bringing the much missed colours, scents and sights back to Castlegate, breathing life into a part of town that was once the gateway to the city.
