Ladybower Reservoir Fine Art Print

from £22.00

This image explores my love of the Peak District and its vibrant, rich colours and natural patterns.. It features moody shades of blues, greys and many shades of green that can be seen around the reservoir that is just fifteen minutes from my house!

It is taken from an original artwork featuring stylised trees collaged using vintage papers and drawn into, ink and bleach hand painted with a range of patterns and words running through the design which are written by Michael Lott about the village beneath the water.

‘Deep below here,

Lie brick shells,

Of scattered lives,

They once held.

Like peat,

A reservoir

Of what once grew,

Gives life to others,

To grow anew'.
